Project 1: Mucam

Context

when? where? who? why?

Mucam is a new mobile application to compose some music pieces with countryside sounds. If you want to discover your environment and explore the nature in a playful way, this application is done for you. You just have to go in countryside to register some sounds and mix them in order to create music. Of course, you can use this application whenever and everywhere you want. The goal of this concept is to encourage musicians of all skills level to ex ress themselves with sounds of the nature and countryside.

It's an easy and accessful application intended for everyone that like to create music samples and to discover yits atural environment. For those who have a musical streak or even tfor hose who just want to have fun with countryside sounds, this application is perfect for you.

Service offered

what? how?

With this application, you have to record some countryside sounds such as wind, animals, stream water, birds or even insects. Then you can choose how you want to remix this sound. For example you can make it a lower sound, or at the contrary, you can acute it or lengthen it. Clearly, you have many various options to modify this sound.

Once you recorded and modify your sound sample, you can repeat it on a track. Indeed, if you just recorded some croacks of a frog and you mix it, you can repeat it every 2 seconds for example. It will give you the instrumental background of your music piece. Now, you can repeat the same process in order to create an harmonious or funny instrumental background with countryside and natural sounds. Once you did it, you can had some voices to finalize your music piece. Done? Congratulations! You just realize your first music piece with sounds of nature!

Now that you realize your music piece, you can share it on Mucam. Indeed, more than a music application, Mucam is also a social media where you can interact with other users, follow them or comment their posts. So, don't hesitate to share your creations on Mucam!

Project 2: EscapeMusic

Context

when? where? who? why?

EscapeMusic is a new way to enjoyoriginal music styles. The application is an escape game with several different music universes that you can discover with other music lovers from all around the world. Don't you know anything about rap or house music ? Let's play EscapeMusic to know more about it !

Target

for whom?

The music fans are our main target. We want them to deepen or enlarge their musical preferences through an interactive adventure. But if you are not a confirmed musician, the people who only listen to music as a leisure are also welcomed ! We just want you to broaden your musical's horizons !

Service offered

what? how?

How play ? First, select a music universe among 22 different styles like Reggae, K Pop, Afro, Funk, Rap or even Indie. Then you will be automatically connected with a team of maximum 6 other players. You also may connect with your friends or people you met during previous game sessions.

What does a party look like ? You will be dropped in a specific music house with different rooms that you can unlock with enigma or quizzes. There are several modes : beginner, intermediate, and expert. For example, as a beginner, you will hear three songs and you will have to choose which one fits the best to the music style universe you're in. But pay attention, there is limited time for each session. The game will last between 30 and 45 minutes.

As an expert, you will have to select the exact anecdote which matches among ten singers. You will obviously have the possibility to communicate with each other during the whole escape game through a chat.

Also, as long as you practice a music universe, you will accumulate experience and you will be rewarded with a badge. For example : jazz passionate, rap curious or rock lover.
